I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying, "When a Muslim visits a sick Muslim at dawn, seventy thousand angels keep on praying for him till dusk. If he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels keep on praying for him till the morning; and he will have (his share of) reaped fruits in Jannah."

One may offer his Tahajjud Salaat after Isha. However, the reward for Tahajjud increases if it is delayed until after half of the night has elapsed. Tahajjud Salaat may be performed at anytime during this period regardless if one sleeps or did not sleep. The Tahajjud Salaat may be performed before the Witr Salaat.

The first man who will meet the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) on the Day of Judgement will be that person who had recited the Durood maximum number of times in his life time.

1. For every Durood Shareef that you recite, ten sins are forgiven, ten good deeds are entered into your sheet of actions and ten position are upgraded.
2. Allah showers ten blessings on the man who recites a Durood.

Rasulallah (PBUH) said: “On the day of Jummah, the angels stand at the entrance of that Masjid in which Jummah salaat is to be offered. They write down the name of the person who enters the Masjid first, and thereafter the name of the person who follows, and they continue doing this. The person who entered first will receive the reward of sacrificing a camel in the path of Allah; the one who followed him will get the reward of sacrificing a cow, thereafter a chicken, thereafter the reward of giving an egg as charity in the path of Allah. Once the khutbah commences, the angels close the register and begin listening to the khutbah.”

Hazrat Jabir radiallahu anhu says that a bedouin came to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and said:

I saw a dream in which I saw that my head was cut off and I was following my head. The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam reprimanded him and said do not tell anyone when shaytan plays with you in your dream.

Upon seeing a bad dream,

1. Recite 11-01-133 times.
2. Lightly spit in your left 3 times.
3. Turn from the side one was sleeping on.
4. Stand and perform nafil Salaat.
5. Do not tell anyone of the bad dream.

If a person does these things then he or she won't be harmed by the bad dream.

Hazrat Jabir radiallahu anhu says that prophet salalahu alaihi wasallam said whoever sees a bad dream he should turn from the side he was sleeping on. Upon seeing a bad dream if one was sleeping on his right side he should turn to his left & sleep and if one was sleeping on his left side he should turn to his right & sleep.

Sayyidina Abu qatada radiallahu anhu says that prophet sallallhu alaihi wasallam said good dreams are from Allah & bad dreams are from shaytaan, so whoever sees a bad dream he should lightly spit on his left side 3 times and say

Abu hurairah radiallahu anhu says, rasulullah sallallhu alaihi wasallam said: Shaytan ties three knots at the back of a person’s head when he sleeps saying on each knot for you the night is long. So sleep. If he wakes up with the zikr of Allah taala one knot is opened then if he performs wudhu a knot is opened thereafter if he performs fajar salah all the knots are opened and he begins the day in a good state & active otherwise he begins the day in a bad state & lazy

Rasulullah sallallhu alaihi wasallam said no Muslim sleeps with the zikr of Allah in the state of wudhu and his eyes open at any time during the night then he makes dua asking Allah for the good of this world and the hereafter except that he will be granted what he ask for.

"When rasulullah salalahu alaihi Wasallam would lie on his bed at night, he would place his right hand under his right cheek, then he would say":

“Allahumma bismika amootu wahya”

Therefore it is sunnah to read this dua in the above mentioned position
